Antecedents certificate form no longer required by application HSM

The Immigration Service (IND) has announced that as of 1 January 2019 the IND ‘antecedents certificate form’ is no longer required when submitting the application for a highly skilled migrant residence and work permit. The employer, being the recognised sponsor, must keep the signed antecedents certificate under the compliance duty to administrate in its administration.

The antecedents certificate has to be submitted with the application, only in case the foreigner has indicated in the antecedents certificate form that he does have antecedents or when he did not sign the form.
