Family reunification: IND Fee (1)
The government (IND) fee for a (EC) permanent residence permit is lowered to EUR 130 from EUR 401 following the judgment of the Court of Justice of 26 April 2012 (C-508/10). The minister has been asked if the IND fee for family reunification must also be lowered following this judgment. The minister replied in his letter of 24 September 2012 to the Parliament that this IND fee will not be lowered. Family reunification cases is about first admission to the Netherlands and the IND has not yet assessed the applicants case. This aspect is for the minister justification for the higher IND fee for family reunification.
