Highly skilled migrants: increase in 2014
In 2014 almost 8400 permits for highly skilled migrants are issued. In 2013 this number was 6500. The increase in highly skilled migrant permits is due to the growth in the ICT and creative industry. The top three nationalities of highly skilled migrants coming to the Netherlands are India, the United States and China.
