Pieter Krop wins important case about illegal employment foreigners
Pieter Krop has won an important and possibly far reaching case at the district court in Alkmaar. Upon pleadings of Pieter the court has ruled that the raise of financial penalties for illegal employment of foreigners from € 8,000 to €12,000 as per 1 January 2013 was not proportional. Pieter has argues as such already in his Phd. The Ministry of Social Affairs had argued that the raise had to be considered as an indexation of inflation numbers. The court sided with Pieter.
