Highly Skilled Migrant Salary Threshold 2026
The 2026 salary thresholds for highly skilled migrants, European Blue Card holders, and intra company transfers (ICT) have been announced. These salary thresholds apply to all applications submitted from 1 January 2026.
The 2026 salary thresholds per work permit category are shown below. The salary thresholds are gross per month, excluding 8% holiday allowance.
- Highly skilled migrant aged 30 and older: €5,942
- Highly skilled migrant under 30 years of age: €4,357
- Highly skilled migrant after a search year, or who graduated from a higher education institution in the Netherlands less than three years immediately prior to the application, or who obtained a Master’s degree from a top 200 university abroad, less than three years immediately prior to the application: €3,122
- European Blue Card holders (regardless of age): €5,942
- European Blue Card for foreign nationals who graduated from a higher education institution less than three years ago, immediately prior to the application: €4,754
- ICT employees aged 30 and older: €5,942
- ICT employees under 30: €4,357
