Integration measures not for Turks
Dutch compulsory integration measures are not compulsory for Turkish nationals in the Netherlands. The High Administrative Court (Centrale Raad van Beroep) ruled as such on 16 August 2011. There is no appeal possible against this ruling. The integration measures came into force by the Integration Act of 1 January 2007. Turkish nationals are exempted from these integration measures because of the association rules (amongst else the Association Treaty between Turkey and the European Community), which does not allow new restrictions for Turkish nationals.
