More nationalities exempted from mandatory TB-test
In the Netherlands foreigners need to undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test after arrival in the Netherlands. Within 3 months after receiving the residence permit card a foreigner need to schedule an appointment with the Dutch National Public Health Center (GGD) to undergo the TB-test. The residence permit can revoked by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) in case the TB-test is not undergone.
There are quite a few nationals that are exempted from the TB—test. The IND has added more nationalities to the list of nationals that are exempted. Most important nationalities that are added to the list are Chinese and Russian nationals.
