Before she started as an attorney at Kroes Advocaten, she worked also as an attorney and lawyer at another law firm that also specializes in regular immigration law.

Anique assists both individuals and companies. Clients can contact her for advice and applications for all kinds of residence permits and visas. In cases where the IND has refused an application, Anique often manages to write a successful notice of objection, resulting in the permit being granted after all. Complicated family reunification matters are in safe hands with Anique.

After completing her first bachelor's degree at University College in Middelburg, Anique started studying law at Utrecht University. In an accelerated program of 2 years, she successfully completed her second bachelor's degree. She then completed the master's program in Public International Law.

In addition to her studies, Anique has worked for people whose rights and interests are being violated. She has worked for Lawyers for Lawyers and has done an internship there. Laywers for Lawyers is an organization that stands up for lawyers abroad who are threatened or hindered in performing their work. On a social level, she has worked 24/7 (in-house) as a volunteer for young people with (psychiatric) problems for a year and a half.
