Dutch labormarket accessible for highly skilled migrant residing in Germany and Belgium
Migrants residing in Germany and Belgium, can in due time, work as a highly skilled migrant in The Netherlands. This has not been possible, because registration in The Netherlands was a requirement for issuance of a residence permit to work as a highly skilled migrant. The Minister of Social Affairs has listened to the wish voiced by some Dutch provinces. The highly skilled migrant elder than 30 years must earn a gross yearly salary of € 50.183 and € 36.801 if younger than 30 years. The changes will come into effect in 2011.
